Pastor Alfred T. Long Sr. has ministered in penal institutions in the state of Missouri for over 40 years.

Presently Jacob's Ladder Ministries conducts services, workshops, mentor/coaching and one on one counseling at four penal institutions:

St. Louis County Jail in Clayton, MO

St. Charles County Jail in St. Charles, MO

Missouri Eastern Correctional Center for Men in Pacific, MO

Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Vandalia, MO.

 

Some of the workshops that are facilitated are:

"Answering The Call"  - a workshop designed to teach the inmate how to evangelize and make disciples inside the walls. This workshop is conducted in partnership with the Billy Graham Institute for Prison Ministries.

 

Legacy Minded Men's Conferences designed to engage, encourage and equip men to build a Christ-centered legacy. This workshop is conducted in partnership with the Legacy Minded Men organization headed by Joe Pellegrino.

 

"Strapped For The Kingdom" is a 12 week course designed to help persons identify root causes of addictions and then provide a biblical based plan to eliminate them.

This course is taken from Pastor Alfred Long's book "Grasping At The Wind".
