Two Wrongs Don’t Make A Right

Violence is in our country’s DNA. Although it’s white washed in our history books, America was founded and maintained by violence.

And it still is.

Why are we surprised now as we watch it played out in living color on our T.V screens and social media feeds?

With that said it is totally irresponsible to condone and excuse destruction and murder for whatever reason.

We ALL angry but that doesn’t give us a right to kill and destroy.

Retired Police Captain David Dorn was slain last night doing his job as security for a local pawn shop. He spent over 40 years in law enforcement and by all accounts was very community minded.

Now another family has lost a father and a grandfather.

For what?

As I watched the downtown protesters last night (black and white) gleefully taking selfies in an almost carnival atmosphere it sickened me. Lives are being lost and you think it’s funny.

This AIN’T NO JOKE!

Now is the time to “check ourselves before we totally wreck ourselves”. Fill in the blanks.

And yes I AM angry!
