Vote!

Today 9/22 is National Voter Registration day. Make SURE you register and VOTE November 3rd. I’ve attached an article that explains the process state by state.

As citizens of the United States of America you have a right to vote for the candidate of your choice.

Before you vote RESEARCH the issues dear to your heart and find out where the candidates stand on those issues. Don’t believe the hype! Be like the Bereans in the book of Acts when the Apostle Paul came to preach at Berea.

(Acts 17:11)

“And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth”.

1.) Be open minded. Study and research the candidates and issues then pray and vote your heart.

2.) Listen, listen, listen to the pulse of this nation not the rhetoric that’s flying around. Discern cleverly manufactured videos and campaign ads produced by conspiracy theorists whose agenda is to undermine the election.

3.) Search for the truth because only the truth will set us free (John 8:32-36). Lies originate with the devil and his agenda is to divide and conquer, then to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10a).

4.) Finally respect God’s Sovereignty. There isn’t a candidate alive with the power to override God’s purpose and plan for my life (Jeremiah 29:11).

When the curtain drops and the drama stops; when the final vote is counted and the outcome is decided I’ll accept it and continue working in God’s Kingdom.

I’ll go to sleep knowing that I participated in the process and VOTED.
